French 1873 Revolver

This is the French 1873 revolver made by the Manufacture d'Armes St-Etienne in France. The first modern era handgun of the French army was chambered for the 11mm cartridge, that was a bit of a weak cartridge for such a large revolver. This french revolver saw action up to World War II being used by the french resistance.
